On Monday, May 23, retired PCC employee Noel Hale went home to be with the Lord. Throughout his employment, he was known for his flexibility, intelligence, and sense of humor.
Mr. Hale served in the PCC Maintenance Department for nearly 30 years until his retirement in 2010. He was Master Electrician and then became Electricians Foreman in 1993, continually advancing his knowledge to create a sophisticated campus electrical system that is admired by engineering experts and continues to provide reliable service to the complex PCC campus today. Routine electrical work and new construction were expertly overseen by his influence and level of detail. “Noel’s Switch,” PCC’s main electrical building, is named in his honor. Our prayers are with his wife, Jo Anna, and their children, Kim, Jimmy, and Beth.
His funeral service will be held at the Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home in Pensacola on Saturday, May 28, at 1 p.m., with visitation beginning at 12 noon.
