Mrs. Beverly Crawford went home to be with the Lord on August 12, 2018. She faithfully served at Pensacola Christian for 52 years and her contagious enthusiasm permeated every aspect of her service to her Lord.
In 1958, Mrs. Crawford and her husband came to Pensacola to teach at the Grade School where she served as music faculty. In the 1970s, she started teaching music and directing choirs at the College. Students admired her joyful spirit, sense of humor, perseverance, and love of music. Later she became the College music librarian until her retirement in 2010. Many alumni, faculty, and staff fondly treasure the blessings they received from knowing her. Our prayers are with her sons Scott and Mark and their families.
The funeral service will be held at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home East, in Athens, Georgia on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m.
