Dr. Don Smith went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 9, 2013. He was a seasoned pastor and prayer warrior whose ministry spanned more than 50 years and touched the lives of many people.
Dr. and Mrs. Smith came to Pensacola Christian in 1991. Dr. Smith served on the staff of the Campus Church and was heard daily as the host of the Family Prayer Time radio program on the Rejoice Broadcast Network. He was known for his strong confidence in prayer and regularly spent hours praying for the needs of countless families and ministries. The PCC family will greatly miss him and his prayerful support. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Pat Smith and their three sons.
The funeral service will be held at the Mullenix Chapel on Thursday, September 12, 2013, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 and welcomes friends to attend the graveside service at Pensacola Memorial Gardens following the funeral.
