Connie Chappell peacefully met Christ her Savior on September 16, 2026. Mrs. Chappell faithfully served at Pensacola Christian College and Abeka for thirty-eight years.
Following her position as secretarial office staff, she served in multiple positions within Abeka. She held her longest role as Senior Customer Service Representative before her retirement in July 2024.
She was an asset personally and professionally in the Abeka community, always aiming to bring glory to God. Coworkers valued her kindness, positive attitude, and birthday cards. She grew to be a grandmother figure among college students due to her genuine investment in them. Her colleagues richly benefited from her extensive knowledge, and customers appreciated her friendly voice.
Mrs. Chappell’s husband, Bob, went home to the Lord in 2020. Please join us as we pray for her children and their spouses, Todd and Jadine Chappell, Barry and Ruth Ann Chappell, and Edward and Tonya Demirgian.
The family invites you to join them in celebrating her life on Tuesday, September 22, in the Mullenix Chapel. Visitation will take place at 11 a.m. and the service at noon. The committal will follow, held at Eastern Gate Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens.
