Mrs. Lois Allen went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 15. She was known for her dedication to ministry, tireless energy, strong work ethic, care for others, and heart for evangelism. Besides PCC’s founders, no one has served longer in the ministries of Pensacola Christian than Mrs. Allen.
Faithfulness was the hallmark of Mrs. Allen’s 57 years of service, during which time she taught elementary children, supervised the school lunchroom, oversaw PCC Dining Services, and directed Special Events. For 50 summers she enthusiastically ministered at Camp o’ the Pines with a passion for reaching the children of Northwest Florida, eventually becoming the camp’s administrative director. Throughout her life, Mrs. Lois Allen served with unparalleled zeal that inspired others toward excellence. The PCC family will greatly miss her, and our prayers are with her husband, Gettys, along with their daughter Kimberly and her family.
Visitation will be held at the Dale Horton Auditorium on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at 12 noon, with the funeral service following at 2 p.m.
