Every year, Pensacola Christian College students have the opportunity to sign up for Serve Pensacola, an event that partners with the Pensacola community. This year, students went to 10 different parks, cleaned up a local highway through Adopt-a-Highway, aided at Carpenter’s Creek, volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House, and assisted with the Special Needs Fun Run at Bruce Beach Park.
Armed with trash bags, water bottles, and smiles, students made a difference around the Pensacola Community. Gabriel Breau, the organizer of this event, enjoyed seeing students come together to serve others. “It’s a special thing to see our students joyfully serving their community for the purpose of the gospel,” he said.
