Each semester, senior Pensacola Christian College students studying studio art and graphic design hold an art show in the Visual and Performing Arts building, upper gallery. This semester’s show was held on Friday, October 31. The studio artists who participated in this Friday’s show are Annaliese Gillespie, Jacquelynne Mathews, Abigail Whiston, and Jane Wilson; the graphic designers who participated in this Friday’s show are Benjamin Fleming, Hannah Lemon, Daisy Sanchez, Heather Price, Cole Chapman, and Priscila Acuña. The pieces on display have been created over the students’ college career and highlight each student’s art education journey.
On Saturday, November 1, graduate students Jessica Saunders and Ashley Bailey displayed their art collections in the graduate art gallery, also on the upper level of the VPA. “After all the anticipation and work put into getting ready for my art show, it was rewarding to see it all come together,” shared graduate assistant Jessica Saunders. “I can say that my art show was a culmination of God’s grace, shown through my teachers and all the people who loved and supported me to make Saturday night possible.” All senior and graduate student art collections will be on display for the rest of the semester.
